COVID-19 | Well Lead Response Plan
The year 2020 began with a global health emergency: the COVID-19 pandemic. The sudden outbreak of the highly contagious Coronavirus hit China first, and has now become a global threat.
Starting face mask production
As a professional medical device manufacturer, Well Lead has been working around clock to battle with the pandemic. Amid a national shortage of personal protective equipment, Well Lead quickly made the decision to start face mask production. Within only 10 days after Chinese Spring Festival, our first fully automatic face mask production line was in operation. After that, several production lines have been built and put into operation in our Hainan and Jiangxi zfactories. Now, the group's face mask project has a total investment of 10 million yuan, with a total of 20 production lines and a daily output of 3.5 million pieces. As of May 30th, Well Lead has produced 60 million medical face masks.
Collaborating with Hainan and Guangdong Provincial Government
Well Lead always keeps in mind the social responsibility of an enterprise. As the only medical device manufacturer with ethylene oxide sterilization equipment in Hainan Province, nearly 3 million of Well Lead face masks have been supplied to government units, schools and local pharmacies in Hainan Province to help local residents to fight against the epidemic. Among them, the main government units are: Wenchang Municipal Education Bureau, Qionghai Municipal Education Bureau, Wenchang Municipal Health Committee, Haikou intermediate people's Court and Hainan Agricultural and Forestry College.
Well Lead also cooperated with Hainan and Guangdong Provincial Government to build up government reserve of face masks which are critically needed for local companies returning to work again.
Donation of Medical Supplies
During the time Wuhan was hit hard by the COVID-19, Well Lead donated 6 million yuan worth of medical supplies to Wuhan based medical institutions through Guangzhou Panyu Charity Association, including oxygen therapy and ICU critical care products, as we understand our mission is now more important than ever as we work to quickly get critical medicines and supplies into the hands of our healthcare providers who need them.
Global Distribution and Become WHO Supplier
The COVID-19 pandemic is now already a challenge for people all over the world. As a member of the global village, China and other countries share a common destiny and need mutual support. Therefore, in May this year, when China MEHECO Co., Ltd. was entrusted by WHO to look for qualified suppliers in China, Well Lead passed the whole process verification and was able to deliver 20 million face masks to WHO. Up to now, Well Lead has delivered medical face masks to more than 20 countries, such as Germany, Britain, Italy, Spain, UAE, etc. with a total of 30 million to help battle the pandemic

1. How does COVID-19 spread? Why do people need to wear a Face mask?
COVID-19 is thought to spread mainly through close contact from person-to-person. Some people without symptoms may be able to spread the virus. The main spreading channel is through respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughs, sneezes, or talks. These droplets can land in the mouths or noses of people who are nearby or possibly be inhaled into the lungs.
Face Mask may slows the spread of the virus and help people who may have the virus and do not know it from transmitting it to others. Hospital is a high-risk place for infection. In hospitals, face masks not only protect healthcare professionals from virus transmission, but are also effective to decrease cross infection and aerosol infection between patients and healthcare professionals.

3. What is Oxygen Therapy, and how does it work in the treatment of COVID-19?
Oxygen therapy, also known as supplemental oxygen, is the use of oxygen as a medical treatment that delivers oxygen gas for patients to breathe. You can receive oxygen therapy from tubes resting in your nose, a face mask, or a tube placed in your trachea, or windpipe. This treatment increases the amount of oxygen your lungs receive and deliver to your blood.
During the pandemic of COVID-19, some people are infected but don’t notice any symptoms. Most people will have mild symptoms and get better on their own. But about 1 in 6 will have severe problems, such as hypoxia. For those patients, they may need more supportive care, and oxygen therapy is always the first choice to treat hypoxia and prevent associated complications. Patients usually receive noninvasive oxygen therapy, such as with nasal cannula or facial mask and then high flow nasal oxygen (HFNO) etc., before the invasive tracheal intubation for mechanical ventilation. If the non-invasive ventilation is insufficient for the patients, they might be provided as invasive ventilation.
